The Role

As the successful candidate, you will be reporting to the Senior Interior Designer, Project Architects and Senior Associates, as well as working alongside a dedicated team, nationwide. Your role will include:

  • Working closely in a team environment
  • Preparation of sketches, diagrams, illustrations and plans to communicate design concept
  • Selection, specification and scheduling of appropriate functional and aesthetic materials, furniture and furnishings
  • Researching and understanding building codes to ensure compliance
  • Attention to detail and an interest in joinery design and documentation
  • Providing design solutions, both technical and aesthetic
  • Preparation of presentation documentation including 2D and 3D drawings to capture design ideas for client approval
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers.

 

Skills and Experience

To be considered for the role, you will ideally have the following:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Strong creative thinking and design skills demonstrated in your sample portfolio
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, the Adobe Creative Suite and Revit
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience working as a professional in the industry will be considered a plus.

The Role

As a Graduate of Architecture, your role will include:

  • Working across all design phases with a drawing production focus
  • Assisting a larger design team
  • Working across a range of sectors of various project scales

 

Skills and Experience

To be considered for the role you will require the following essential skills and applicants that also have the experience under ideal are strongly encouraged to apply.

Essential
  • Graduated with a Masters of Architecture
  • Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD
  • Experience in 2D CAD Programs
  • Ability to work independently and /or in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and team working enthusiasm

 

Ideal
  • Proven experience on a variety of projects within commercial, multi-residential, industrial to retail
  • Strong design, conceptual, master planning experience
  • Strong Technical understanding
  • Demonstrate strong documentation skills with attention to detail

As a Project Architect, your role will include:

  • Mentoring and leading Architecture teams
  • Work to timelines and budgets
  • Liaise and consult with various internal and external stakeholders

Essential
  • Hold a Masters of Architecture
  • 5+ years’ experience in Australia
  • Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD
  • Experience in 2D CAD Programs
  • Ability to work independently and /or in a team
  • Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Client Management skills
  • Strong work ethic and team working enthusiasm

 

Ideal
  • Registered Architect
  • Proven experience on a variety of projects within commercial, multi-residential, industrial to retail
  • Strong design, conceptual, master planning experience
  • Strong Technical understanding
  • Demonstrate strong documentation skills with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a Project Architect role is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the local construction industry
