GRADUATE OF ARCHITECTURE

CANBERRA
Full Time

The Role

As a Graduate of Architecture, your role will include:

  • Working across all design phases with a drawing production focus
  • Assisting a larger design team
  • Working across a range of sectors, of various project scales.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for the role, you will possess the following essential skills:

Essential

  • Graduated with a Masters in Architecture
  • Proficiency in Revit and/or ArchiCAD
  • Experience in 2D CAD Programs
  • Ability to work independently, and in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for architecture.

Applicants that also have the following ideal experience are strongly encouraged to apply:

Ideal
  • Proven experience on a variety of projects within commercial, multi-residential, industrial, and/or retail sectors
  • Strong conceptual design and demonstrated documentation experience, with an attention to detail
  • Strong technical understanding.

EXPERIENCED PROJECT ARCHITECT

Are you motivated and enthusiastic about architecture? Are you wanting to plan your future in a practice? This is an opportunity to join a growing firm where you will be a key member of the design team on all phases of project development – from concept and design development, to construction documentation and administration, gaining experience in a wide variety of project sectors.

The Role

As a Project Architect, your role will include:

  • Mentoring and leading Architecture teams
  • Work to timelines and budgets
  • Liaise and consult with various internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for the role, you will possess the following essential skills:

Essential

  • Graduated with a Masters in Architecture
  • 5+ years’ experience in Australia
  • Proficiency in Revit and/or ArchiCAD
  • Experience in 2D CAD Programs
  • Ability to work independently, and in a team
  • Strong design, concept, and master planning experience
  • Strong technical understanding
  • Demonstrate strong documentation skills, with an attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Client management skills
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for architecture.

Applicants that also have the following ideal experience are strongly encouraged to apply:

Ideal

  • Registered Architect
  • Proven experience on a variety of projects within commercial, multi-residential, health care, and/or retail sectors
  • Previous experience in a Project Architect role is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the local construction industry.
